Wild Waves adding new water attraction | Business

Federal Way’s Wild Waves Theme Park is bringing in a new water attraction this summer, and park officials need your help to name the new ride.

According to a company news release, the new ride will drop guests into a “steep chute that swirls the riders into multiple high speed revolutions around the outer perimeter, and then gradually decelerates" as the riders are fed out of the center of the bowl.

Sounds fun, no?

An online naming contest is being created by Wild Waves for the new water attraction, which is referred to as the Cannon Bowl in the industry. Wild Waves will involve guests and season pass holders in the naming process through their social media avenues.
