Fire crews control brush fire | 911

South King County Fire and Rescue crews were quickly able to extinguish a 60-by-40 foot brush fire on the northbound side of I-5 at South 375th Street in Federal Way this morning just before 11 a.m.

Crews had the fire out within 10 minutes, and one lane of southbound traffic was blocked while crews worked to put out the fire.

There is no official word on what started the blaze, but early reports are that a lit cigarette tossed from a car started the fire.
